If you have favorite shirts or if you buy expensive shirts , wash them at home, rinse them with the extra rinse cycle on your machine, and let them hang dry on plastic hangers before you press them yourself. I do my shirts this way, and I have many shirts that are 15 years old, which still look brand new . I wash them, if they are indeed to be washed, with my white clothing I have. They seem to come out looking like cream. The dye, however much there is in cream, does not run. Read the directions about washing to be sure, though! You have to do the wash in one color alone. You can not just put all the clothes together or you will have a mess ie red pink dark orange in one load. Blues with like colored and whites alone. black and dark gray can be done together because the run of colors won’t be a problem. Ask your mom if you have any other questions about Laundry.
